Caps going missing?

Ok i just installed fallout, then the 1.1 patch, then the 1.2, then the 1.3 patches (the unofficial ones).

I was just in game and went to trade when i realised the caps i had got from a previous town had dissapeared. Not in the trade window, not in my inventory.

Anybody else had this?

if you installed mods, this goes under the Modding forum. G&T is for "vanilla" Fallout installs only. Read the descriptions.

As for the problem: Check the bottom of your inventory screen, the items are sorted differently from Fallout 2.

This could be one solution, as I don't think you could have gotten robbed, this was also introduced in Fallout 2.
