Car? - after blowing up the Gecko plant

Hey,
I have been searching a way to get a car after I blew up the plant in Gecko and the guy who was going to supply me the needed part for the car, disappeared.
Is he the only character in the game who had it? Since It would be really painful to run around the wastelands without a car :/
I have decided that I would be willing to use a savegame editor or something like that, if this is the only way, since (by now) I have done everything to get the car, except supplying the Super Tool Kit to the correct person, which is impossible now. That really sucks.
I tried to find an editor, but none which I found were able to edit the NPCs.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, you killed a guy, now you get to suffer the consequences.

Ie. no, you're fucked. You could use a savegame editor, but that's about it.

Use the inventory editor to put a Fuel Cell Controller in your own inventory. Drop the Bag first if you have it.
