[updated:LAST EDITED ON Feb-19-03 AT 08:31PM (GMT)]Why does always the car disappear in new maps that i've made? Does there need to be somekind of script in the map, so the car won't vanish?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON Feb-19-03 AT 10:03PM (GMT)]I suppose that it would cause if you open a map file like redding in mapper, the car is no shown so it would have to be put in when your there. (Probably not a Map script but some other)
Also are these maps new cities or just to replace old town maps?
These "new" maps are made based on old town maps and then they're put on new locations. Btw. Why create new map -button isn't available? Is it also something as simple as with the palette init error?
Yep, and i would like to see a copy button somewhere too, it'd be way cool if they added a script editor in too. Now THAT would be very handy for new maps.
There's not much of a point to include an script editor in the map editor since there isn't much of a relation between scripts and maps (at best there's the location of the critter and that's it).
For the car, reason new maps don't handle it is because the car is a special thing you need to put on the map with it's own script.
I'm not londger sure wether there's a special script that also needs to be implimented in the map's own script anymore, it's been too long I looked into it... Ideally though you'd start off from a map that already has this whole script in place so you needn't bother with it, otherwise it's pretty much up to you to figuer it out...
