Caravan woes.

Just decided to do caravans for the encounters.

Problem : Did the NCR-Redding one,but the caravan master is NOWHERE to be found........was forced to reload.Was not in bar,,the greeting center(NOT vault city one...),or anywhere else.How am i supposed to get my cash?

I also have one save(not my main one though) after a nasty battle with remnants of master's army fightning a caravan.Well one of the caravan guards used a minigun on a floater that was behind my caravan's driver.Whoops.So i was forced to kill them all too.

Well now ALL hostiles are dead.But caravan master refuses to give the all-clear and if i exit the map im counted as deserting the caravan.All mutants are dead,all caravan guards are dead,enemy caravan master dead....even tried killing all the damn brahmin and the damn caravan master still thinks hostiles are on the map!What can i do to salvage this?

If you're talking about the brahmin drive quest that works a little differently and there is no all-clear. Check my guide for some more details.

I also ocasionaly make a xtra save to a diferent slot other than my quick save slto so I dont have to rodo so much progress. Looks sompthin like this...

1-(Quick save)
2-Sytx1-Hard-hth
3-Sytx2-Hard-elect
4-Interceptor-Hard-sniper

and so on. This was I like load them from the apropiate slot and use the number one for all quick save and asave em back tot heir slot when done.

Well........looks like the caravan leader not appearing in town happens quite frequently,and reloading a save to a save while in the caravan doesnt work,he still dissapears when you reach the destination.

And it seems that no matter what,any time you meet "Caravan fending off xxx" the caravan master bugs out and refuses to give the all clear.

My problem too. And it seems to me this problem appeared after 1.05 unofficial patch. But without this patch the game was unplayble for me with Win XP. With 1.02 patch only everything was ok untill I get the car AND quit the game. Then after restarting the game I couldn't load new maps at all. Surprisingly 1.05 resolved this problem, but now the damn caravans!
