My family and I were visiting Jerome (a little historic town in Arizona, USA) and as we were walking through one of the shacks, (they have a mini-ghost town there) lo and behold I saw 3 boxes of Cat's Paw rubber heels. The picture on the box was the same as the Cat's Paw cover in the Fallout games!!!! This may not be news to anybody else but I was like but of course I didn't bring the camera!!!
Don't worry though - I only live an hour from there and I plan on going in the next month - just to take the picture.

Cat's Paw is actually a real-life brand of rubber heels manufactured in Canada. The image for the item in Fallout appears on the box for a pair of those heels. The developers of Fallout 2, not knowing the real origin of the image, assumed that it's a pornographic magazine.

yeah, I know fallout has taken nostalgia from real life, what I'm saying is, I couldn't believe I saw it in the flesh - not just some internet picture

yeah, I just have to get an opportunity - maybe when the wife wants a "Haunted Hamburger" - Jerome is a little on the weird side - kind of like a populated ghost town/tourist trap
