Commie Ghost
Kind of an odd question, but what would a circular saw be more effective as a weapon? I'm about as 'handy' as...Andy the Mr.Handy of Vault 101. So I don't really know anything about tools. I mean, I ended up taking shop class twice (not my choice), but it was extremely lacking in terms of...actual educational experiences. I'm also not a crime scene investigator, pathologist/mortician, or some other expert of bad things happening to human bodies.
I would imagine that a chainsaw would have much more bite, which is to say grip. Which could be a blessing or a curse. If that semi-true story movie with Marky Mark and the Rock, about the bodybuilders who were the world's worst kidnappers, was at all accurate about how they handle hair--then jamming is potentially an issue with certain things. Circular saws have much longer teeth so it's probably faster unless you're dealing with something really dense, like the wood chainsaws were invented to deal with, or ice, I guess...
