Change the text color?

Modifying the font files in the Master dat should do it, but I'm not the guy to ask how to do this. I think you'd need a Hex Editor or some crap, dunno.

Beats me, I'm afraid. I suspect that Reconite's right though, with the caveat that however you end up changing it will be how all the text will end up; I doubt you'd be able to change text for just a specific part, that is. Of course, that's probably not a problem in this case as you didn't specify that, so eh.
 
However I hate raping "oldschool" and "true gold" FO2's elements, even a technical ones, I think it's time to do something with the (lets say a lil' ugly) dialogue screen as a whole. Even my mom dislikes it.

Even the ingame bottom menu might be face-lifted (but not technically re-vamped, just graphics).
 
Yeah, thanks, I found 6 or so probable font files, but i am not very experienced with hex thingy, i suppose i have to find some XXX code that say 'write in green!" and replace it with a code that means "write in red!!"
If someone knows more on the "how to do it!', well i'd be grateful...

Meh! Modifying that sort of thing ain't that tough, just need some good graphic guy to mess with the interface frm. Since i ain't one, I prefer to rape the green color .

Just for curiosity, how would you see a new dialogue interface? without the pibboy?
 
You can't change the text colour. The font files are greyscale; the colour itself is hardcoded in the exe. (Edit: Actually, on second thoughts that may not be true for all text. It holds for most of it though, including the green.)
