Ok, Chapter 3 is coming soon. We are just about done with Chapter 2, it's been a long one.
The only thing that we need to do now, as for the main group, is figure out the virus and get to the spot where we will make entry into New York. The last part is easy. Our entry point will be a conduit on the PATH train line that links Manhattan with Jersey City.
Before then I would like to resolve a few sub-stories in chapter 2. But this is also a good time to give up spoilers or discuss what will happen in Chapter 3.
As I see it, New YOrk is pretty much cut off from the rest of the United States by an elaborate electrical grid and security system that is difficult to penetrate. Overseeing that is a system of very powerful robots. Within New York City there are rival gangs that run the town, but overall the population is in decline. THe subways are active with all sorts of mutant beasties, there are violent cannibalistic zombie ghouls, killer gangs, but also, above it all, an elaborate electronic system that is able to maintain it all in place.
For the sake of argument, New York City includes all the burroughs and a significant part of Long Island. Most of the activity concentrates in Manhattan and the areas directly across the major bridges and tunnels.
