Hi i have little problem i download some custom characters but i dont know how to install them, some1 can tell how i can do this?
 
There are a few ways, replacing the sprites works good, But simply adding them in the entity editor then placing those entities in level editor works too. There are a lot of details to it all though and since Rob offered, I think I'll leave you in his capable hands.
Keep it simple Rob, seems like Bart has just started.
 
  1. Ok, you need to add the .SPR files too your sprite folder, it should be at C:\Program Files (x86)\Interplay\Fallout Tactics\core\sprites\ add your .spr files where ever you want in the sprite folder, if you need to you can even make a new folder but it has got to be in the sprites folder.
  2. Go back to your Fallout Tactics folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Interplay\Fallout Tactics\) and go into your Improver_data folder and open ArmourTypes.txt
  3. You then will need to add your own custom Armor entry, start by copying and pasting this to the ArmourTypes.txt; {Enclave;Pow;0;sprites\Fallout Last Vegas\Characters\Enclave.spr;0} feel free to change the name, and add the location of your armor where i have added mine (sprites\Fallout Last Vegas\Characters\Enclave.spr) and when your finished save it.
  4. Download this file and add its contents to your Fallout Tactics folder.
  5. Now start FT Improver.exe, its in your Fallout Tactics folder, you should see a blank button, click on it and you will see a list of editors, click on Entity Editor, click File then click on Open, find the armor folder in the items folder so you can use one of the original armors as a example to work with, first thing edit your Armour Type you will find the armor you made in the ArmourTypes.txt.
  6. Next part is easy and fun, using the Level Editor! once you start click File/Open you will need to find your campaign maps, they are in /campaigns/missions/core/ if you can't figure out how to add items on the ground by your self i will make a small step by step tutorial for ya, and by the way make sure you click save after editing the maps!
  7. After that just play like normal but you must run FT Improver.exe to start your game or else your armors will not work.
