Checkit Out! I modded my INVBoX

Well I think the first one is better, the new item boxes don't really looks good, but why don't you merge them keeping the brown item list and the new screen from the first one puting on the second, don't changing the screen which shows the character and replace the item and armor slots with a gray one or something like that.

Be careful when moding any of the interface screens more often than not they come out looking worse rather than better. Compare the difference in the iface.frm (main interface) between Fallout 1, Fallout 2 and the Mutants Rising Demo.

We tried to follow in Fallout 2 foot steps and only make minor changes (I think we used a modded Fallout 1 version).

You can make a big difference by making it look repaired or something. In theory all the interface screens are part of the pip-boy so maybe make it look like its been upgraded or repaired, add some wires, a valve, vacuum tube fuses, witch etc... Maybe the original red button is broken so you need to hot wire two wires together each time or its a different switch etc...
 
You're not actually serious are you?

I know fallouts colour palette is limited to 256 colours but that doesn't mean we need to resort to grey scale surely...

What's next, mod the critters into stick figures?

Then again I think half the posts here are just Trolls.

Can you Program? I mean like really like write a program?

Something that could take all these fucking script command lines and give me an easy way, with something like a flowchart or something, would be grand news.

no i cannot program what you want. even if i knew how, i would need key experience with scripting itself to know how to organize things so it is useful like you want.

But to be honest man this color... golden yellow and grey... is a strange combination...

I am colorblind. to be honest i cant point out the gold, or yellow or grey.
