yeh i dont think anyone liked FO:T elrond .... hey you sound kinda newbieish , and i am still a semi-newbie, a quasi-newbie, a ... well you get the point ..... anyways just a few pointers .... try and keep all of your ideas in one post , having too many clogs it up a bit and people get a lil annoyed, dont say anything about first person shooters , Fallout online or the such, as it tends to anger the moderator gods (they are vengeful and merciless gods ), another thing try not to take what people say to heart, most of the time their just pissed because of the same topics coming up over and over again, or their poor sex lives (or in my case non-existant .... damn)... anyways , its starting to become a reacurring thing to see newbies get kicked out so yeh ... hehe as a young newbie my stupid thoughts got me kicked out of vault 13.net for poor conduct so i learnt the hard way about conduct .. hehe anyways knock yourself out .....
oh P.S , it also shows you how absolutely stupid you are if you call someone >U< instead of you so people will hack on you if your caught doing it

There is a reason why most of the topics are old, and you rarely see new people on NMA forums.

i understand why the old topics come back over and over , because people who buy fallout end up loving it , then come onto a forum to talk about it, and they express their ideas on how fallout 3 should be made , but most of the time their ideas aren't too well thought out .... (FPS ,MMORPG) , and then later do they realize that people who played fallout way earlier before them have already come to these topics and notions and ideas ... its because of different mini-generations of fallout players (i mean generations as in weeks , months or years of fallout players) is why same old topics keep on coming up , once again history repeats itself ... you guys were newbies once before , but its only because you were here first and you learnt the rules , came familiar with the topics which keep on reacurring , and know how to administrate such a site is why your here as moderators.... the only difference betweeen a moderator and a newbie is time .....

To clear one thing up. It's not because you are a veteran on a board that you are a moderator. APTYP isn't a moderator, unless things got changed last time i looked. I'm not a moderator and i have been over here for about 7 to 8 years. I even did some research for the site, ie the items database was partly implemented due to my research. What newbies sometimes forget is to read the rules before they post. A lot of problems might have been avoided if they did it.

And the problem is not EXACTLY the newbies not knowing the rules, but rather the conflict between the newbies' view of things and the administrators (those ones who still visit the boards).
I used to have "Administrator" sign before the last crash, because of the way Rosh implemented private forums.
