Look, Ma! Two Heads!

I updated my text file for my builds to include what weapons they would use at different strength levels.
For example, my guns sharpshooter character.
(Strength 10)
Anti-materiel Rifle-.50 MG
Li'l Devil-12.7mm
This Machine-.308
Riot Shotgun-12 Gauge Shells
CZ57 Avenger-5mm
Esther or Mercy-Mini Nukes or 40mm Grenades
(Strength 9)
Anti-materiel Rifle-.50 MG
Li'l Devil-12.7mm
This Machine-.308
Riot Shotgun-12 Gauge Shells
Fido-.44 Magnum
Esther or Mercy-Mini Nukes or 40mm Grenades
(Strength 8)
Anti-materiel Rifle-.50 MG
Li'l Devil-12.7mm
This Machine-.308
Riot Shogun-12 Gauge
K900 Cyberdog Gun-.357 Magnum
Esther or Mercy-Mini Nukes or 40mm Grenades
(Strength 7)
Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle or Christine's Silencer Rifle-.308
12.7mm Pistol-12.7mm
This Machine-.308
Riot Shotgun-12 Gauge Shotgun
Shoulder Mounted Machine Gun-10mm
Annabelle or Red Glare-Missiles or Rockets
(Strength 6)
Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle or Christine's Silencer Rifle-.308
That Gun-5.56mm
This Machine-.308
12.7mm SMG-12.7mm
Dinner Bell-12 Gauge Shells
Annabelle or Red Glare-Missiles or Rockets
Notice how as his endgame strength decreases, the weapons he uses change. For example, the rapid fire weapon he uses changes from the Avenger minigun, to the Fido, the Cyber gun, Shoulder Mounted Machine Gun, and 12.7mm SMG. At a strength of lower than 8, he can no longer use the Anti-materiel rifle, L'il Devil, Mercy or Esther. At a strength of 6, he can't use the Riot Shotgun.
I did the same for my energy weapons sharpshooter, cowboy, grunt, pyromaniac, and melee warrior. As the final strength decreases, the weapon list can change.
For this character, I use a scoped weapon for picking off enemies at great distance without detection, a sidearm for medium range combat, a rifle for longer ranges or all purpose, a rapid fire weapon for crowd control, and an explosive weapon for crowd control and tougher enemies such as deathclaws. The Shotgun is used for short range combat and tougher foes that get too close.
Does this sound like a good strategy? If you want to see the weapon list for my other builds, let me know. Also, feel free to post what weapons you use for your build depending on your end game strength.
