Chris Avellone and his shelter.

If that really happened, will Fallout Shelter become better Fallout than Fallout4?
Well in the sense that it's titled Fallout and is set in the same world, it already is

It's its own thing and doesn't need to try to stand up to past Fallouts because Fallout Shelter isn't a main line game, Fallout 4 tried to be the same kind of game that Fallout 1/2/NV and even 3 were, but it failed to deliver with every step it took.
Fallout Shelter is the first of its kind in the franchise and it's already done well.

Fallout Shelter is an okay game.
Great concept, but sadly it lacks that edge.

Personally, I would have prefered it if it was more like Sims.

That reminds me, if I can find a Fallout Mod for any Sims game, I'll probably buy that Sims just for the Mod.

Oh God a Sims game about managing a Vault. The pre-cum is already dribbling out just thinking about it.

In Sims 3, you can make effective basement homes IIRC. Just add in some aesthetic mods and you'll have the Sims: Fallout edition (minus the reality of the post-apocalyptic world).

If Chris Avellone is writing it, it'll mean all the characters will die in horrible ways while the Overseer has an existentialist crisis about his entire life being controlled by a False God Computer who he was copied from.

And it'll be awesome.

Give it a world outside the Vault too, so you can send your residents out to explore the wastes and then join them if you want, it'll be like the World Adventures expansion for TS3 when you're watching them, and like Fallout Shelter when you're not.

I didn't realize how much I needed a Fallout Sims game until now.
