Clone .frm frames - advice needed

Rigel

First time out of the vault
Hello good people of NMA. I have a specific issue. I need to make a really long animation from the existing one using original frames (sort of loop).
Unfortunately the existing animation has a lot of offset frames. Inserting original frames multiple times is not a problem, but inputing offsets to every frame would be terribly time-consuming (more than 250 frames for each direction). Unfortunately none of the software I could find can just clone frames from within the opened frm, only import from graphics files. Any advice on how to do this nicely?

What kind of animation are you trying to make? Movement? Idle? Death? You may try this:

- export frm to gif,
- import gif to layered (and animated) psd,
- increase canvas size*,
- export layered psd to gif,
- make sure autocutting is off in Frame Animator,
- import gif multiple times,
- done.

or

- export frm to gif,
- import gif to layered (and animated) psd,
- increase canvas size*,
- make all shit over there,
- export 250 layers psd to gif,
- import to Frame Animator,
- done.

* in all directions to remove autocutting, which means offsets.

Thank you, Continuum. You appear to be really good at this. Works like a charm. Maybe I'll be able to pull this off after all.
