Since it is often said that only roaches would survive a nuclear blast, it would seem only fitting to have some oversized roaches in Fallout 3. I noticed that there were mantises (or is it manti?) in Fallout 2 and believe that it would have been more appropriate if they had been cockroaches. I know this isn't the most in-depth suggestion on the board, but I decided to toss it out anyway...

If you played "Fallout Tactics", you've probably seen Small and Giant Cockroaches. These, and somewhat rare Giant Rats are one of the few things I liked about FOT. I don't know, they are just so cool...

You're right, I haven't played FOT, but I'm glad you think having roaches in Fallout is a good thing.

Let's just hope if they do make it into Fallout 3 they don't talk or anything like that.

Hey!

Don't forget the Rad Scorpions and Ants. Remember the giant ants in the beginning of Fallout 2? That was weird. But...what about spiders?

I think they should have giant mutated spiders. There aint nothin scarier than those gigantic spiders in your backyard, picture them basking in radiation for a few years or with FEV pumped into their hides. Yowzers.

RE: Hey!

Tactics had the Uber Roaches which could be pretty deadly. It would be really interesting to have the Mega ants ala "Them!" Maybe get away from the whole supermutants/ghouls/Enclave thing and make the entire plot battling the Mega-ants.

w00t!

IT CAME FROM RED ALERT! duh daaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Man, nothing was better than clicking on that little speaker graphic in Counterstrike and duking it out B-movie style with gigantic ants.
