2K Games Announces Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization (PC)
2K Games and Firaxis announced today that work is underway to revive Sid Meier's Colonization as a "stand-alone expansion" for Sid Meier's Civilization IV. The original Colonization was the 1994 follow-up to the smash hit Civilization and focused on the European colonization of North America from 1492 until 1850. The new Colonization is billed as a "re-imagining" of the original game and will offer similar gameplay to the original boosted by the deeper strategy, better graphics, multiplayer options, new interface and enhanced modability.
