First time out of the vault
I know that this website is deadicated to Fallout, but I have a problem with Carmageddon 2 game. The problem is that it will not run on Windows XP, so if anyone knows where to get a patch, that would be great. Also, how do you read a non-formated 3.5 inch floppy disk?

P.S. I HATE WINDOWS XP. WINDOWS 98SE WAS MUCH BETTER.
 
Do you need to read data that is already on the 3.5" disk or make it so you can read and write to it?

If it is the latter, you just need to format:

*This will erase all data currently on the disd*

Put disk in drive
My Computer
Right click on floppy drive
Select "Format"
Start.

If not, well, I don't know how to help you. Don't know how to help your Carmageddon problem...
 
go to Start Menu > Programs > Accessories > Program Compatibility Wizard
find Carmageddon on the list of programs, and select it to run on Win 95, 640x480 resolution, 256 colors and with disabled Win XP eye candy settings.

if this doesn't help (it should!), i recommend formatting your hard drive and making two partitions. on one you should have Windows XP, on the other Windows 98. you will be able to choose which system to use on boot.
