Awhile back, I posted that my wife, son & I were moving to FLA. Well, we finally got settled into our new place, and have finished setting up the furniture & such, but I now have a problem: I can't remember how to connect everything on the entertainment center.

This includes the following:
TV
VCR
DVD player
PS 1
RF modulator
Cable connection (coax)

Can anyone help? I'm desperate for a solution.

Going "upwards" is the easiest way to do it, and here's how I set up my system chain.

TV last in the chain, then the VCR. This way, you can record everything. So you don't have to turn off more stuff (and still possibly record PSX games), put the PSX's input into the VCR. Or an RF switch there. Have the DVD go into the VCR (best if it's the tri-cable), and also have the cable connection go into the VCR through the coax connection. Most modern VCR setups have 2 tri-cable inputs abailable, so you have the option of using the PSX's tri-cable to the VCR. Minus that, connect the cable into the PSX's RF connecter, then plug that into the coax input of the VCR.

"Have the DVD go into the VCR"

I have to disagree on this, the DVD must always be connected by S-video cable or RGB Scart(i don´t know how you call this cable in the US, please check it) direcly to the TV, or else you loose too much signal, i know that by experience. i agree with the rest Rosh said, that`s more or less how i setup my EC (but i`m arranging things to have an EC in one room and a home cinema setup on another, but run out of money before buying an 82 inch tv, rats...:-( )
