This one has me stumped. It recently dawned on me that images from UFO: Aftermath fit right in to Fallout 2, all I had to do was convert them over to .frm. After some searching I discovered that bmp2frm used in conjunction with a program called "alchemy" worked rather nicely. The only thing I had to do was change the black background around the weapon images from black to blue, save the image and convert.
The Problem: One particular image when loaded up with the official map editor is simply showing up as a blue on blue background (text but no weapon image). I have gone back and tried converting the image over with the same result. The blue on blue background persists and totally fills the entire item box....the weapon is nowhere to be seen. ( an invisible ak?? now how is this possible??).
Here is the REALLY weird part, other images such as the Steyr Aug, M-4, and about 5 others are coming in/showing up correctly and crystal clear (no blue on blue background)!!!! Even stranger is the fact that other item viewers that you can download here at NMA load up the AK image just fine (weapon on a blue background). If someone out there could tell me what the heck is going on and how to correct it I would appreciate it.
