Is there any way to convert a *.asf file to a *.mpeg file?

"Did we give up when the GERMANS bombed Pearl Harbor?"

I have a link to a site that has all sorts of conversions at home. Blaze Media Pro may do it otherwise do a search on the web.

Can you post the link?

I checked the site "Converter's Paradise" - it doesn't have anything like that. Check ZDnet for video converters, there may be a freeware program out there or at the very least shareware.

Since the *.asf format belongs to Microsoft and it proprietary, they asked any makers of programs that could convert, or do anything other than encode them or play them, to stop.

A little bird told me that Virtual Dub 1.3c can read and convert ASF files... I'm sure it is available in some regions of the net.
