Firts i want to ask if there is any way to play cooperatively multiplayer.I mean not team play byt coop storyline.

Second question concerning multiplayer character creation. I am not sure if that auto balance system will work.I am a bit shocked i can make character at any experience level!
Next thing is statistic in multiplayer games.I dont see any purpose to use some barter and gambling and even steal skills in multiplayer games. The same thing about charisma.Maybe there is some pint to use those but i dont see it.So will anyone lower hes charisma and other non-multipler skill to 1 to get more free points?

Luck can be pretty useful...

I tend to use this:

5, 7, 5, 1, 5, 7, 10
6, 9, 7, 1, 8, 7, 10 (using Gifted)

Note that this is multiplayer...although other than Bartering, I don't see much use for Charisma in singleplayer either. Perhaps it has an effect?

Someone should play as a character with a 1 Charisma and see if it does. Perhaps some of the people, such as Chevron the Elder or the Ghoul group you have to save, won't be as interested in your help?

In any case, here's why Luck is good.

On it's own, if you have 10 Luck, you have a 1 in 10 chance of doing a Critical Hit. Not too shabby. Plus, it does give you some random Luck-based bonuses here and there.

However...take the trait Finesse and watch your Critical Hit percentage jump to 20% (or, 1 in 5)!! Sure, you do 25% less damage (which can be offset later with a couple ranks of the perk Bonus Ranged Damage), but one out of every five attacks is probably going to maim or kill your enemy.

Now, if you want to be really brutal, take Fast Shot as your second Trait, and pick the Bonus Rate of Fire perk. Yay, now any weapons that took 3AP to fire take only 1! So this means if you have at least 5AP total (which is the least you can have in the game), you can shoot five times, of which by statistical analysis ONE shot should be a critical hit on average. =)

RE: Luck can be pretty useful...

what I reckon is that in multiplayer you need high damage... a shot in the eye from a sniper can kill an opponent, but a lucky shot can stun him down... what is he's behind some cover? then you can't shoot him

Well I always like to play with a 9 luck, because the crit chances on even normal shots is high as well as damaging. But yes Charism is worthless in Multiplayer...

But what else did people want a Fallout multi player real time game for other than blowing each other up?

I haven't played multiplayer and don't intend on it, at least not for awhile, but if you can get leader perk (+10% to all skills of every member near you), it might be worth having a Cha of 6. or a 3 for loaner (+10% on all skills if you aren't near anyone). other than those perks, it seems to be totally worthless in single too, of course I had to take a 5 on my first character...
