Counter-Strike : Live Action

Phil the Nuka-Cola Dude

Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
Probably the most I have laughed in months.

Here is the info straight from fileplanet.

This is a live-action movie about an obsessed Counter-Strike player who loses his distinction between reality and CS, fighting terrorists on an exciting hostage rescue mission, ending with a clever twist.

Counter-Struck tells the story of a gamer so obsessed with Counter-Strike that his distinction of what is real and what is not slowly fades away. Cleverly playing upon several quirks from the game, this movie follows the Player through his adventures of fighting terrorists and rescuing hostages, and ends with a twist. Chris shot this movie in a local warehouse in Minneapolis MN, for his final project in film class at MCAD. It took about 6 weeks from planning to completion; actual work time (writing, shooting, editing) was about 60-80 hours. It definitely shows, as it turned out simply amazing. This movie is clever and hillarious - definitely a must see.

Get it here.

P.S. - I haven't been here in about a year, but im pretty sure this hasn't been posted before...

P.P.S. - Dont dismiss this as "Counter-Crap" without watching it!

Amazingly enough, this movie is rather funny -- if you've played Counter Strike often enough.

Unless he's headshotted within the first two seconds of the film and the rest of the movie is him sitting at his desk, listening to idiotic chatter and trash talking while waiting for the next round, then it can't really be a film about counter-strike.

That was awesome! I didn't expect it to be that well done. The costumes, the scenery, the actors, and especially the video and audio effects all came together perfectly. I also appreciate the fact that the credits music was classical guitar instead of some crappy cliche like Linkin Park.

Welcome back, btw, Nuka-cola d00d. I remember that nick and avatar, hehe.

Yeah, it was pretty kewl. One should be made about Fallout and shit. You know with people carrying 200kg of stuff around, your whole car except the trunk disappearing, your buddies shooting you in the back numerous times, etc.

I would pay $10 to see that...

If everyone here pay me ten bucks for it I'll make it!

By the way I remember you to nuka-cola-man, spare a coke?

Weren't you the guy that spammed everything up together with the one with the Conan O' Brian av?

Ban please.

I'm scared. I actually liked that. I agree with Ashmo though, you've got to have played it to understand. All the same, he's hit the nail on the head. Sadly, it conjours up bad memories of CS...

After playing CS for a long time I ended up just paying Jeepathon_2k almost exclusively just so I could run those terrorist bastards over and steal their guns. Ah, those were the days. - Colt

I can't get it to work on the gay site, even though I've logged in several times...

no, that was Phil, the nuka cola dudete...

Not hugely funny, but very, very nicely done. Fantastic ending (considering they had shot the main character) though. Not expected at all.

The sad thing about this is that I started playing CS:CZ again. After 2 days I realised why I stopped. I hate it again!!!
