Crashes (more then marketing ploys from interplay)

How do I get tactics to stop crashing ifI dont save every 5 minutes ????


Also, this part is kinda off toppic but what the hey, were do I DL a item editor for tactics, so when bored I can start a new game and usa a gauss mini gun on the raiders in bramin wood.
