Critters' frames

of course you may, if you have uber paint skillz...see, the frames are rendered 3d models, and it's a helluvalot of work to make more frames by hand...it's possible, but...

It's not to bad to do. Depending on what you want to do...

Step 1
Download a copy of 'Frame Animator 2.51' from the NMA files section

Step 2
Extract the BMPs and edit with something like MS Paint

Step 3
Import the new files and save the new FRM

You mean like this ?

Follow Qwertys advice, and it can easily be done. MS Paint is actualy one of the better programs for the actual editing.

And yes you can add new frames or delte frames using Frame animator.

What I ahve done is saved the FRM into BMPs (save as project) and then added them back into the FRM to have duplicate frames. so you can make a burst pistol or rocket launcher this way.

You can also import animated GIFs into frame animator.

So for example if you exported the 'Sand bettle' model from Diablo 2 into Seperate GIF files for each direction it faced (NE, E, SE, SW, W, NW) and then added them into frame animator (or used Gif2Frm and FrmCat) you can transfer sprites from other games (FOT for example or Crusader games)

There is a tuturial I wrote on converting FOT models into FO2 which should help you.

And as strange as it sounds MS Paint is probably the best program (so far) to use for editing the BMP files of a FRM

well, it depends on what you want to do, I supose he ment adding new movement frames...I take it as examplewise adding crouch/prone and stuff like that? wich is hard..mildly spoken... :P

Try to decipher. (Hieroglyphs)
If it is difficult to understand, please ignore.

Yes. You already answered my questions.

In the future. (when we finish the translation)
I will make new characters, new sceneries.
I want to do a mod of my country. I want to do a present story, not one of 1950. I work in graphic computation. The work graph won't be difficult. But the scripts....
I made a new wall, but the alignment work is horrible. I have to cut the wall in small parts because of the light.

In the critters, mainly, I will insert frames between NE, E, SE, SW, W, NW.

It is a long work.

But unhappily Mod is ignored at my country.

To do a mod can be a lot of work for nothing.

Is there future for Mods?
Will Fallout 3 kill or to glorify the mods?

They are questions that importune me.
But answers don't exist for them.

Thank you for the help.
