Mitch woke up to the sound of an emergency siren, the noise was terrible and he decided to go turn it off. As he opened his eyes and saw where he was he suddenly remembered. He had been placed in cryofreeze in the year 2076 as part of the governments secret project to preserve the human race in the event of nuclear war. The cryochamber was open so he stepped out and went up to a nearby computer terminal. First he asked the computer what time it was, the computer answered with a metallic voice: <date 23/5 2136, time 0607>. Mitch then asked the computer why the emergency siren was going, the answer shocked him more than the knowledge of what year it was as the computer replied: <Emergency signal activated in 2077, reason total thermonuclear war>. But why am i the only one awake? the metallic voice then spoke again: <Life support systems down to 1% cryochamber nr337 operational, all other cryochambers nonoperational>. Mitch just stood there for a few minutes, then he started walking towards the emergency supply room. In the room he found a 10mm pistol with four clips and one in the magazine, a few flares, 4 stimpacks, a weeks emergency rations and a backback.
