Cursor/camera bug? *FIXED* See solution

Hello everyone i just recently reinstalled fallout 2 with hopes to enjoy it again but i have run into a problem while playing. After a couple of minutes of gameplay the mouse cursor gets stuck either on the top or bottom of the screen and drags the camera down and it wont move also when i try to open a tab like the character stats it scrolls through the text continuously. I have been looking around the web for answers and solutions but i cant find anything! Has anyone else had this issue? Im running killaps restoration mod...im on a laptop no external mouse just pad,windows 7, ive tried tweaking the compatibility like disabling mouse acceleration. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

I was messing around with some ideas and found out that the game itself isnt really compatible with laptop mouse..you will need a external mouse to get over this problem also if your a cheap bastard like me you can connect a usb controller such as a ps3 remote and with some mouse emulator software like joytokeyhttp://download.cnet.com/JoyToKey/3000-2094_4-75220348.html its a great freeware program that allows you to use a usb remote as the mouse and is very flexible you can map out keyboard keys to the remote ive configured the remote to run on fallout 2 and i dont even need to use my keyboard at all! i hope this helps anyone else who may have the issue..i suggest trying the program out if you want to use a controller for fallout 2. post any questions if anyone has problems configuring their remotes

Wow. Never even heard about anyone having this issue. I used to play Fallout on my laptop with a touch pad and never experienced any problems. Anyway - nice job working this out and thanks for posting the solution!
