Custom Games and online characters???? huh?

Ok so this is kinda a two pronged question. first off how do you play the custom games thing that you get from patch 1.27? I can't add bots, so i just win every time... I don't get it, what am i missing? is it supposed to be used for something else?

next, you know how you can make a character for online... i can keep leveling him.. and choose his loadout... is that normal? THEN when i go to play online (although there is no one there) my character is no where to be seen. am i missing something from that one too?

anywho... any thoughts or comments welcome.

The custom mission & campaign options are for playing fan made single player creations. There are plenty to choose from in the download section.

The more you level or equip your character the more expensive they'll become (the points value in the portrait), mp games have set different limits on characters. So when you see people talk about 2k or 10k games they are talking about the points limit on characters. Any character over the limit for a particular game won't be allowed. Custom characters might also not be allowed for certain maps, if they are tick the box above the recruit pool, when starting a mp game, to see custom characters.
