Cybernetic Brain in Sentry Bot

Is it possible to make a mod that lets you place the Cybernetic Brain in a Sentry Bot?

The weapons that skynet could use would have to be changeg to Heavy Weapons (Miniguns and Rocket Launcher).

It would be cool if you could upgrade the minigun arm with your choice of: Avenger Minigun, Vindicator Minigun, or Gattlin Laser.

Last Qustion: Will the editor that is being made by Chris Jones be able to do things like this?

That would certainly be nice. You should make it so you can use the other container of biomed gel and tell Skynet to transfer his brain into the other bot. I'd do it too, but I have a Mac and a utility to do this hasn't been created yet. But if you want me to spruce up the image of the Skynet Sentrybot, say color him blue or green, I can do that easily. You should also remember to include the already existing weapons they come with. Another neat thing that you could do is when you bring the improved Skynet to Algernon in New Reno, he can spruce him up, by adding an improved hydraulic system (more action points, faster walking, better strength for melee and opening doors), better armor (more HP), that sort of thing.

I agree about keeping the Multi Rocket launcher on the one arm the same, but I like the idea of upgrading the Minigun on the other arm to Avenger, Vindicator, or Gattlin Laser. Having Algernon upgrade the armour and hydraulics is a great idea!

Wouldn't it be cool if you could have Algernon attach a Mega-Power Fist to one arm. (I know that is far fetched since it would take a completely custom graphic along with many other changes to Skynet's current config.)

Anyway, I would be interested to know if anyone thinks any of this stuf is possible.
 
Thanks. You're right about being able to upgrade the weapons, I just meant that he should come with the rocket launcher and minigun in the inventory when you first get him. A gatling laser would rip! Also, if Al upgrades the hydraulics, the robot's melee would be drastically improved. Then equipping Skynet with a Mega-Power Fist would produce that effect. Modifying the graphics... We could just leave them be, although that would be cheesy. Or we could copy/paste the different weapon sprites onto Skynet. Another thing you could add in as a mission to get Algernon to upgrade Skynet would be this: Algernon wasn't always a bumbling idiot. The shopkeeper above him (forget his name) drugged Algernon to make him money in outfitting weapons and such. The player could free Algernon by getting Myron to examine him, then talk to the doctor in Vault City to devise another cure. Then Al would be able to run off and setup shop in NCR, and you can then come to him to upgrade Skynet.

Robo-Doggie Upgrades...

Hehe. Don't ge me started... And you know those robotic dogs? I bet the newly freed Al would be able to add better hydraulic jaws, or vibro-blade teeth. I considered the ability to add a backpack and gunmounts, but that would be a little weird. Also, it would be neat to get anti-gravity plates on a robot. Think of the movement ap! That would be terrific for melee characters like dogs.

Aye, the only thing I'm really good at is writing. However, I can modify images reasonably well, as I have a Macintosh loaded with some *ahem* acquired software. However, as there is no utility to open the game files of FO2 for the Macintosh, I cannot perform this seemingly difficult task. I can, however, write an excellent storyline and very good, coherent dialogue. If anybody wants to take up the challenge, I would happily provide input, as well as set up a webpage to log the progress and help coordinate efforts.

As a possibility, I can also read through the extensive manuals on modifying game files, and tell somebody with a PC exactly what to do.

Oh, and no, I do not have Virtual PC, and no, I will not take the time to look for it, download it, and install it, or (golly!) pay for it.
 
Well i hav tested and twiddled with some programs and There is a way that i can make an armour that will make you look like
A) A robobrain
B) A Cybernetic dog (Spelling?)
C) A hoverbot
D) Any other person's frame in fallout 2!

All you need is FIC:7
Although it could be hard to make an inventory image for the objects.

Hrm. I suppose this could be considered an "upgrade," and if you made this armour available for use by non-humans (or even better, specifically wearable only by Skynet), then just by fitting the armour on the robot could change Skynet's look and increase many of his stats. Finally, special weapons could also be given to Skynet that emulate the weapons used by Sentry Bots. Just thinking; I have no technical experience with Fallout file modification.
 
I'm not sure about that you could make it just for skynet and if u could it would not change his apperance because if u notice u can give any armour to vic or sulik and they won't change their apperance i don't think its possible. And creating new images for robobrains also is not possible (i think) because frm file are lots of images packed together as an animation but if you save it as a bmp it will put them as seperate bmps, and you coun't pack multiple bmps into a frm file that i know. (unless there's a program out there that can do this i havn't seen. Then again im 13

this mean 5 levels gain after you become level 10. Your every 4 level, robots gain 1 level. if you add like

robot not gain levels. because this message

This mean its hardcoded in game. maybe crack code.
