This system is used by the swedish game company NEO games in their RPGs. Instead of hit points, the damage is divided into three categories. These are: Trauma (the actual damage to tissue, bone and muscle): Pain (Self explanatory): Blood loss (How much blood you lose). Each of these has columns, and how many columns you get depends on your willpower, toughness and what kind of build your body has. When you are damaged these columns start filling up, and the more filled up they are the harder it is to use skills, and the easier it is to pass out or die. The only problem with this system is that it takes a lot of time to calculate how much damage you get(since the damage system also includes hits to the brain and so forth), but since computers can calculate things very fast...
