Ladies and gentlemen, stay awhile and listen while I unfurl a tale of tragedy...
Awhile back, I was perusing the boards, and discovered a little fan fic that you may have heard of, called Aftermath. This fic singlehandedly talked me out of suicide, saved the orphanage, and cured my dog's fleas. Every night, I rested comfortably in the knowledge that I would live to see how the events of Aftermath played out.
Unfortunately, I was born with a horrible mental deformity known as integrity. This "integrity", as it is called, prevents me from reading the magnificent climax of this epic until I have read all that comes before. But alas, I cannot find part 7 on these boards, or even on Slinky's site. The pain!
Can you imagine the torment of not knowing what caused the explosion in part 6, not being able to find out what happened with the mercenaries, not knowing if Trill and Marcus's baby was a mutant (jeeze, nuclear soap-opera moment)? Please, for those of you out there fortunate enough to be privy to this knowledge, you can make a difference. All it takes is 35 cents a day... oops, wait...
All it will take to help poor, wretched little Yamu (or to get him to shut up, however you look at it), is to point him to the location of part 7, and feel the joy that comes from the knowledge that you have helped to save a life.
