Dark Tower Movie/T.V. Series

I don't know anything could happen, but i have an easy feeling about Akiva Goldsmith and Ron Howard at the helm though.

And if it's not R rated, I'm not even going to bother, you could probably get away with it for the first book (barely) but not the others
 
It won't be R, PG-13 at the most. I remember the DT series being very popular at the middle school to high school age. They would not want to alienate potential viewers.

So is porn :smug: It will probably be R is the 'States, PG 13 or 16 MAX here in Canada :D
 
Honestly, don't count on it. Theatrical release possibly, TV release not a chance in hell. Kings TV movies are quite good but it will have a lot of the mature elements toned down, as has been in so many of his other works put on TV.
 
I recall the TV Movie version of The Shining to be fairly good in terms of not being watered down. Mind you I only watched part one and was probably about twelve at the time, so perhaps take that with several grains of salt.
