Decided to play FO2 again... but I screwed up

So, I managed to pick a fight with the Dentons in Klamath through talking, I think accusing them of steeling Brahmins. Anyway, I appear to have saved my game after picking the fight (and the only save slot I was using). My problem is that I apparently picked a fight with the entire town... and leaving town and coming back doesn't help. So either I can start over or kill everyone in Klamath (not somethign I'd like to do at this point).

It's pissing me off a bit as the bathhouse attendants, for example, have detected the fight and ran all the way out of the bathhouse and all the way into the Denton's store, which is damned gamey. Hehe.

Any suggestions? Is there any save game edit or anythign?

There is a Save Game Cracker which lets you set global variables like town hostility. Individuals may still be pissed at you, but running off the map after they see you may help with that.

Thanks... I'm not sure if the save game cracker will work or not, but I'll give her a try. It's a funny thing, I'm not in combat mode as I saved. I think I picked a fight with dialogue, but the brothers are both facing away so I'm not in combat mode. Problem is, I can't get out of there without them noticing me and picking a fight. I think my thinking was to save and then see if I could get through the door to their little storage room, which I thought might provoke them.

I have a feeling that if I could kill them without attracting any additional attention then I might be able to leave and reenter town without being "the enemy", but I always seem to attract that attention.
