    Introduction

This is a Non-Cannon RP based in an Area I don't think has ever been put into the series. This area provides for a more sensible creative flow, Characters do not have to be out of the 'Characters' Thread, but you can still bring them here, Rules applied are:

    1. No Godmodding, Auto Hitting, everybody has flaws, and dodging every bullet that is headed in your path is not allowed. Also you cannot assume you hit someone automatically, unless you're holding the gun to their head.
    2. This leads to the next rule, Consent, There are boundaries with consent rules in this RP, send a PM to me if you want out of a situation before you doom yourself.
    3. This leads to a guideline: Avoid PvP Combat, I'll play NPC's, Most of which are pretty powerless. However It'd be advised that you still use good Judgement and Common sense in combat, Only you can Prevent Player-Death!
    4. No unlimited stashes: Ammo, food and Medicine included. This means you May end up running dangerous errands to gain ingredients for Stimpacks.
    5. Limit your Starting equipment to one small ranged weapon/any non-advanced Melee weapon, 3 Healing Powders, and 10-30 bullets. PM your Starting Inventory to me so I won't see you pulling random weapons out without proper acquizition. I'm Nice enough to Allow a .44 Magnum, however you will have only 6 bullets to start with, since you're starting with something that already packs a heavy punch, but it isn't the best Pistol You will find in the RP.

    Background Information

After the holocaust Michigan held only 3 Discovered Vaults 222, 251 and Vault 187. Each Vault had been emptied out due to various reasons. 187 was a Post War prison, A majority of these prisoners didn't hold Pip-Boys, the 187 Jumpsuit was specifically designed to bind these prisoners, soon after the Holocaust, the prisoners had somehow gotten out of their suits, disarming the detectors and shackles, A riot of Murderers, Rapists and the Scum of Society poured out into the wastes forming many small Bands of raiders. 222 aka Triple Deuce was dedicated to the preservation of detroits Industrial Technology, however they were forced out of their home due to toxic fumes lingering in the Vaults ventilation, leaving few survivors. 251 was a Vault only few had seen, and many had only heard legend of, even before the war, there were questions as to what was stored in Vault 251, when a Reporter had said that Vault 251 was Closed years before the sirens had gone off, Various post-war reports say that there are horrid things like Deathclaws and Mutants behind that door, Some say it's a secret community that had payed tons to isolate themselves from the outside world, people who have seen it never disclose the location but all have difficulty getting it open.

Most of the known Vault Descendants are long dead, however PipBoy-5X's which specialized in Maintenance and Repairs from 222 are not scarce. The Pip-Boy 3800's from 187 Given to guards before the prison break are fairly Scarce. There is a 50,000 Cap reward for the Discovery of a 251 Pip-Boy, Since No one has been able to break the Lock on 251.

    Locations

Detroit has been divided into many different towns, Listed below.

The largest group of Raiders are the Ancients, Large because they survive in within the city Holding up the Redford Area, Redford Consists of Ancients Ruins(Bar), Bloodshot's Weapon Emporium(Guns & Ammo), Lucy's Amputation and Needles(Doctor), and the Scrapyard. (Gladiator Style pitfighting with Slaves)

Deucetown was built by the Survivors of Vault 222, Deucetown Consists of 3 Factories and a warehouse, The Warehouse is a Post Apocalyptic Shopping mall of sorts building new 'Deuce' Brand products made from the Salvaged Factories. Notable Shops found in the Deucetown Warehouse consist of Big Deuce Arms(Guns and Ammo), Maxim's Saloon(Bar), The Utility Closet(Tools & supplies), Deuce Medical Surplus(Doctor).

Interstate 696 kept its pre-war name, however it had become a Flea Market of sorts where traders have begun to gather, 696 is more a Central trading hub for most of Detroit. Traders come and go, You can never predict what you'll find there.

Polonia is a Tribe which resides in Polonia Park, the tribe is very Diverse(humans, Ghouls, Supermutants, and some pet Komodo Dragons), and while some say they lack intelligence, they simply don't communicate like the rest of detroit. Notable locations: Kalhan Tent(Shaman), Afrez Tent(Elder), Krag's Tent(Warrior Leader), and The Burning Shackles(An old Swing-set, turned into a public execution site, two Tribesmen wielding flamers execute enemies here).

(This post will Be edited for future Reference, Feel free to Join and start playing, make suggestions, or discuss Idea's OOC, so long as you can follow the rules.)

    DeuceTech Catalogue

While not actually a Catalogue, it's more of a pile of papers put together with a Paperclip handed out around Deucetown. No Two Deuce Products are alike.

    DeuceArms .454 Casull Magnum
Formed from Deucetowns Arms Factory this powerful Pistol has been finely crafted, From a Nonspecific Magnum Handle, A modified Tec-DC9 Magazine slot, often the part that holds the scrap barrel together is taken off of a Rifle or Shotgun.

    DeuceArms Autoloader Gauss Rifle
The Deuce arms Gauss rifle is perhaps one of the simplest designs, having magnets welded into most rifles, using the autoloader of an Auto-loading shotgun. However There are flaws as the magnets need to be constantly adjusted to boost the rounds.

    DeuceArms Shotgun
A shotgun built from a harpoon gun for the general body work, given a simple barrel and salvaged firing Mechanisms, Half a crowbar connected to pump mechanism, and the other half forms a crude butt welded to the back of it all, the only sad part about this Shotgun is that instead of the standard 4-6 shells it holds a meager 2-3.

    DeuceArms 10mm Assault Rifle
DeuceTech Salvage teams uncovered a collection of books By P.A. Luty which detail how to manufacture Pre-War weapons, this one was an AR-15, though mostly substituted with different Welding fuels, in essence this gun is still an AR-15, and fires common 10mm rounds, and Best of All it's guarentee'd to work for another 30 years with little maintenance.

    DeuceArms 10mm SMG
DeuceTech Salvage teams uncovered a collection of books By P.A. Luty which detail how to manufacture Pre-War weapons, the Luty SMG holds a blockish design, and comes with 2 free 40 round Magazines.

    DeuceArms General Motors Minigun
Those folks at DeuceArms did it again! They rebuilt pre-war GM Engines, and attatched them to a Minigun, Definately not easy to carry around, the weight makes it a stationary Minigun. The minigun takes 5mm rounds as well as Fusion Cells to run the engine. The amount of rounds fired often depends on whether You're dealing with a V6 or A V8, and if you can maintain a Fuel Cell Regulator and Distributor.

    DeuceMotors Motorized Power Armor
Formed from Scrap metal and a variety of different motors, from Mowers, to hand crafted Engines to run old car parts without the weight of carrying a GM, used to lighten the load. Even though the horsepower on this armor is fairly high, it's still a bit Akward to use, but it really takes the weight off carrying a DeuceArms minigun around. If you fall down in this, Getting up is tasking.

    DeuceMotors Iron Fist
Deuce Motors put together a makeshift power fist With a little too much power, excessive use can result in severely crippled limbs due to the propulsion the Motor distributes, using the heavilly modified leaf blower.

He sat at the bar, the bandana he usually wore around his face down around his neck, his white gloves sitting on the bar next to him. He wrapped his hand around his glass, filled with 2/3 whiskey and 1/3 Nuka-Cola.

20 years had passed since he actually had a purpose. He had spent the time wandering almost aimlessly. His Raging Bulls had also lost their purpose, as .454 Cassull and .500 Magnum rounds seemed to disappear into history. He now found himself in a dirty bar, in what he used to call Detroit, now splintered. He sighed, bringing the brim of the glass to his mouth, tanking a long, slow drink. He set the glass down, placing his hand on his magazine holster, more of a deterrent than anything, since the two magazines in the holster were empty. 19 of his rounds were in the magazine in his Glock 34, which rested in the holster on the right of his belt. The last one bullet was in the chamber of the gun.
He reached into his pocket, pulling out the black plastic pack. He took a black cigarette out and put it to his lips, a blue light illuminating at the tip as he puffed on it. He felt a tap on his shoulder and heard a voice, "Hey man, no smoking in here."
Skytzoe simple took another puff of his cigarette, "Hey, did you here me, I said no-"
"Chill the FUCK out. I'm in a bad mood with an itchy trigger finger."
He heard footsteps go away from him. He took another drink from his glass, consuming the remaining contents. He set money on the bar then stood up, pulling the bandana up over his nose then slipping on his gloves. He slowly walked out of the bar, slipping the cigarette into his pocket.

    (Hmm Any particular Area?)

The cities grime is one condition that never seemed to change, some industrial factories had been salvaged to produce new goods, in some area's, and others though once salvagable, were picked clean for scrap metal. The skies held a sickening amount of smog, which some considered a protective Layer from heat, the people were a diverse mixture as well, Anyone from rebuilders, to raiders could make it here, thanks to the remnants of the two open vaults. Those in the know would find this to be one of the closest to successful experiments in rebuilding Society, Too bad 187 was dangerously close to it all as well.

Outside sat a plastered looking old human male, in tattered knee length shorts and a ruined Tie-Dye Tank top, with countless empty bottles, wearing a custom looking pipboy. in the mans mouth was a Cigar, he was using a pair of pliers apparently trying to recycle a shotgun shell, it looked almost usable, what was inside the shell were not pellets but Nails. However this man was too damned drunk to see what he was doing and ended up pricking his fingers on one of the nails. The Drunk brought the finger to his mouth, smoking the cigar and licking the trickle of blood, at the same time.

(Sorry, I forgot to mention my char was in Maxim's Saloon.)

Not even 20 minutes in town and he was already annoyed, along with the frustration of not having a real purpose. He decided to head to the gunshop, to see if his pathetic amount of caps could fill his empty magazines. As he was walking, something caught his eye. He took a step back, began reading a letter on a bulletin board. 50,000 caps for a Vault 251 Pip-Boy. He smirked. He had heard about it, but he knew the hardest part would be finding the vault, the rest would be cake. He turned and casually continued to the gun shop. He walked to the counter, then pulled the bandana off his face, revealing a smile, "Hey there, got any thermite?"

The shopkeeper wore a filthy old Vault Jumpsuit, looking through a Technical Manual as he heard the mans request nodded "Hold on a second, we can make you some" the man then proceeded to go to a workbench, and began scrape rust from a piece of scrap-iron and poured small parts of aluminum powder into the mix "How much do you want out of this?"

"Oh... Just enough to burn through twelve feet of steel, so like three or four pounds. By the way, do you know where I might be able to come across some raw magnesium and gasoline or oil? Maybe even some isopropyl? ...And maybe some information, as well. By the way, how much will this thermite cost?"

"Well, We've Synthesized Magnesium and small bits of oil based products, from a machine we brought here from the old Deuce, it's as efficient as the real deal, but some miners do bring me the real deal for Nitroglycerin, and Synth-Acetylene for what I assume to be gas-welding and pathmaking supplies... Never really bothered the miners about that stuff y'know?" The shopkeeper said "And the cost? Prolly 'round 340 caps a pound, 820 for 3, 1160 for 4... For 80 more caps you can get it in a pipebomb casing..."

The man continued to make a large amount of thermite with the rust and aluminum "So should I just hand you the Magnesium strip or do you want me to construct an actual grenade out of these?"

"A grenade would not suit my needs. And why should I pay over 1,000 caps for something I could make myself? And as for the nitro, I need something that burns, but doesn't explode, and don't worry about the magnesium anymore... By the way, do you know if magnesium is worth very much?"

"It's not easy to find anymore, since the fall, The problem is that there are less people that actually work to get these resources" He said smirking "And Aluminum ain't exactly abundant or easy to synthesize either... Iron Oxide is everywhere though, and the magnesium strip plays a vital role in how this whole concoction works..."

A rough looking man enters through the door, a cigarette in his mouth, on the counter he drops a pile of empty brass casings ejected from some sort of pistol or sub machine gun on the counter "Y'know the drill Mitch... Picking an entire clip up wasn't easy either..."
"I'll get to you in a moment Bonesaw, But I'll make sure you're not snorting air" The merchant said as he applied some finishing touches, producing a large bag of thermite, he then proceeded to the man with the casings, counting them, then producing about 70 caps.
"Wonderful, I'll be nose-diving for 30 seconds" the man remarked with a hint of unsatisfied sarcasm then headed out.

He listened to the man talk about metals, then watched the conversation between the two, after Bonesaw left, "Hold onto that thermite for a little bit. I'll be back in an hour or so."
He turned and walked out the door. He took off his backpack and knelt down, drawing a map from his backpack. He unfolded the map, it seemed to be from before the war. Along with the lattice of streets were thousands of numbers on the map. He turned the map over, which showed a key to the numbers. He looked through the key then turned the map over, scanning the map with his index finger. He stopped his finger on the map, using his other hand to pull a pencil from his backpack. He marked the point he held his finger on, and after looking around made another mark.
He stood up, putting on his backpack looking over the map, then began walking.

It took about 20 minutes of walking, but he got there. He stood in front of the store, looking at his map before folding it up and replacing it in his backpack. He walked into the store and looked around.
The store was mostly intact, and surprisingly retained most of it's wares since the war. He assumed there wasn't much demand for the things this store stocked, at least after the war. It was a bike shop.
He looked down in a counter, surveying the collection of pedals. He drew his Glock, smashing the glass counter with the handle. He carefully picked 11 pairs of pedals, then began looking at the collection again, then pulled out another nine pairs. He walked behind the counter, grabbing four plastic bags. He placed one bag in another, filling it with the first 11 pedals, then the other with the other 9 pairs. He then walked over to a wall, displaying frames. He picked up two from the walls. He walked back to the counter, then he grabbed the bags, walking into the back room.

In the back room the sound of snorting could be heard once inside, there was a large man with long blond hair sitting at a table snorting about a handful of Mayhem, some called it New-Coke. Its users experienced an Amphetamine style rush, with a Mushroom like trip,(Often both are used when mayhem isn't available) but it also induced a sort of psychosis, Mayhem becoming a popular cause for some of the most brutal beatings when it started appearing in the area around Michigan. Buffout, Psycho, Post war Mushrooms, and Afterburner Gum(Don't condemn the game because it's a mess) are often used to simulate the high, though it's more dangerous to use this method, and not as potent as properly cooked Mayhem.

The man looked up to Skytzoe and spoke in a gruff voice "Hey... Dude... If you're not buying or selling, Door's that way, you look pretty clean to me, so you're not here for the powder, if you're not gonna buy a gun then get out" the man said as he nosedived into the pile of Mayhem, coming up, nose powdered white as he occaisionally snorted. At the mans side are more than afew guns ranging from .38 to .50 caliber and everything inbetween, in his hand was a Viper double barrel shotgun, the Viper was about the size of a pistol, a Dwarved Double barrel shotgun. By the way this man sits and speaks you can tell he's paranoid, and will not hesitate shooting in his state, the mayhem only makes this man more frightening as he'd get a buzz from murdering someone "Besides... This shits better than most of the new shit they offer you in Deuce... Y'just gotta take better care of it..."(Decided to make off the map traders =P Meaning anyone who goes after this guy, doesn't have your knowledge.)

As he had said, about an hour later he walked back into the gunshop, holding the two bags, the two bike frames strapped onto his backpack. He walked to the counter, "Magnesium." He set the 10 pound bag on the counter, "Aluminum." He then set the other bag on the counter. He took off his backpack, unstrapping the frames, setting the first one on the counter, "Aluminum," then the other, "Titanium."
He put his backpack pack on, looking at the man behind the counter, "Will you buy any of this?"

The man smirked "Yeah... Sure" He said placing the Thermite on the counter, looking through the bags of bike parts, forcing the plastic from the petals with a scraping tool then counting the caps then placing the aluminum pieces into a casing "You still want the Thermite right?" He said placing the case into a forge, then into a metal bucket full of water for a bit, steam rising up in large quantities.

He reached into his pocket pulling out his electric cigarette. He placed it in his mouth and took a couple puffs, pulling the thermite towards him, "Oh, and do you by chance, know where I could find Vault 251?"

At this moment a weary traveller enters Deucetown. Weary with hunger and thirst. He makes his way into the first building he sees. Stumbling all the way. He would ask for any liquid they had, whether or not it was irradiated or not. He would give the last of his caps to the man who gave him water. Looking up at the flaking sign hanging from the old building he read, “BIG DEUCE ARMS”. Knowing he would not make it any farther, Derek opened the door and chocked out the question he needed to ask, “Do any of you have water?”

He walked out of the shop, placing the bag of thermite in his bag. He couldn't obtain alcohol or gasoline, but that was low on his list of priorities, what he really needed was the location of Vault 251. He began walking back towards the saloon, until he heard a voice, "Do you have any water?"
Skytzoe thought for a moment, then took off his backpack. He looked to the man clad in leather and kevlar. Skytzoe could tell that he needed water. Skytzoe pulled off his backpack and reached inside. He rolled a bottle of Aqua Pura to the traveller, "Sorry it's warm."

Derek looked down at the bottle of Aqua Pura distastefully. He needed water more than enough to ignore everything he had been taught by his masters. He took the water and drank it, trying not to think. Screwing off the lid he gulped the water down. After the water was gone he handed the bottle back to the strange man. “That stuff is rare to come by out here. Normally found in the capitol wasteland. How did you manage to get this? Wait don’t answer. I might not like it. I’m Derek by the way.” Derek held his hand out.

Almost every city near the ocean has it's own purifying process, but I like Aqua Pura the best, but it's not as good as... Well.. You're too young to know the difference."
He took a puff of his cigarette, "Know where any vaults around here might be?"

“I know there are 3 vaults within the area, Vault 187, 222 and the hidden 251. You can ask any man in this town I presume for the locations of 187 and 222, So I doubt you are looking for those ones. But I know something that many do not know about Vault 251. Government secrets are easy to get if you know the right people.” Derek said slyly. “And I do not like telling secrets to people I just met. And people who call me young.”
