Deus Ex 3

oh boy... a console mag.

anyhow, i wonder how a third game is even possible, with the end choices you can make in the second & all.

Seems a strange franchise to cash in on, is my opinion. I'm not sure who their target audience is, given how DX2 died on the consoles. Of course, there are analogies with Fallout going on the consoles, hoping the cult of the franchise will translate into sales from people who haven't played it before, blah blah blah.

While it's unfair to say anything about a game we know nothing about, I'll say something anyway:

It's going to take a whole team of rocket surgeons to think up ways to make this game worse than IW, but I just know they will be able to pull it off!

Please, please prove me wrong Eidos.

wow .. wierd .. how bout throw in a new thief game :) this is like revival year... :)

seems wierd to go for a dx3 .. lets hope they get some decent engine eh ?...

could it be possible that PC developers are feeling the squeeze so they go multiplatform with well known old series just to be on the safe ?

LOL i do know that :) played all the Thief game series and a lot of user made content ... i dont know how theyd carry on after deadly shadows i just know i'd love to play garret again (famous last words before flame: doesnt even have to be garret could be that girl from the ending of DS)

i couldnt bring myself to play DX2 ..i dont have it anymore but i could look for it ... is it worth it ? now that it would probably run smooth on my machine ...

Oh they'll probably go with the ending where you help.. that guy.. the ones who currently run the world. I forget their name.
They'd never have the imagination needed to run with the Omar or Helios ending. I dare them to!

The Omar ending was probably the only worthwhile part of that game.

Unless they plan on starting before IW, perhaps even ignoring it. Not bloody likely though.

Deus Ex has a lot of potential, but unfortunately the chances of it not being crap considering the state of the industry today are nil.
