Did I just discover a new FO2 "Easter Egg"?

Slap me if its already been discovered, but it wasn't on the NMA list of FO2 easter eggs so I thought I'd register here just to tell the world of my discovery. Here goes,

Reference to "The Godfather"- In Broken Hills you can kill the chessplaying scorpion. Search its corpse and you'll find a pair of glasses. Talk to "Rocketman" Renesco in New Reno and you'll have the option to give the glasses to him. follow the dialogue options and eventually he'll say something like "I suppose you're expecting some sort of reward for this" to which you can reply "Some day- and that day may never come- I'll call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day accept these glasses as a gift on my daughter's wedding day", a direct quote from the film!

Absolutely genuine, pretty cool huh?
 
i really dont think this is new to anyone who has played as much FO as the people here on NMA...
 
Oh, sorry. I just thought as it wasnt on the list... meh whatever, if its already been found then just close/delete the thread.
 
It`s not your fault, many things aren`t in the list, after awhile people just stoped updating that list, too many things to put. And yeah, i noticed that too, in 1999 i think.
 
I noticed the line, but I've never seen the Godfather and thusly didn't recognise it. :P

If the list contintinued to be updated, it'd take up half the site. :lol:
