DO NOT GO TO FALLOUT RPG IT SUCKS!!!!! this is a warning, i tried it, it sucks, This board is much much much better!!!

Is that a fact, or merely opinion?

No it doesn't suck. It is a bit slow, but since the board is small it seems to be more of a tight knit group, ME INCLUDED. Also, some of the people are better role players, at least knowing how to balance pros and cons of a character. Some of you should really go and see the board.

RE: Is that a fact, or merely opinion?

That's because that board has much more restrictions and rules. If they would introcduce the sma esystem here (and find some people mad enough to supervise), people here would also make "better role players, at least knowing how to balance pros and cons of a character". This is merely some enhanced fan-fic board.

RE: Is that a fact, or merely opinion?

Yeah anti gravity weapons and spiderswith radios Holografs and More stuff than a swiss army knife hmm how much Con does it need to get that in balance atleast not a BOS armor and weapons.....

feel free to feel hitted by this

RE: Is that a fact, or merely opinion?

Ignore my last post. I thought Delmont meant the Active Roleplaying board at Interplay. My mistake sorry, I have nothing against the Fallout RPG, it looks quite good from my standpoint, but doesn't allow the free-endedness of rp.

Blasting Fallout RPG, and the GM's point of view....

To the people that may read this,

I am the man responsible for Fallout RPG. My purpose for creating the game was to take my experience at message board rpgs and combine it into the fallout universe. It has been very successful, although it still has some flaws.

The person that started this post, was a newbie character that I received during this weekend. I gave him some pointers and well let him start posting. He broke one of the rules of the game (which is listed on my page) and I let him know about it. I feel that I was to harsh about it and I apologized for it. Then of course he blasts my game here.

My game does have some tight rules for some, however I do not believe in anarchy. I want realism in my game. And yes, I do like control. Rules do not however limit the game from fun. The reason why I thought that we played roleplaying games on message boards was because we enjoyed writing. If you enjoy writing, then the rules only serve as guidelines. My rules are NOT incredibly strict. The majority of the players have no problem with the way I have things. Yet, I suppose to some, rules are incredibly stupid things.

Its pretty funny actually. I have a 12 year old in the game that follows the rules precisely. My game has no bounds to age. You make a character, you roleplay as him. That's it. Sure, the game has its flaws. We're growing, and somethings that worked before will need to be changed. I'm not a dictator...I actually want to give some people some responsibilities in the game. Storylines for example. I want to know about them, however I don't want to be in charge of all of them. So sure, we have our problems but doesn't every game?

Finally, I would just like to apologize to the person that blasted my game. I'm sorry, sir, that we could not fit your needs. Although, I'm glad you resigned as well. I do not believe that you were immature enough to blast someone's game on another site only because of constructive critism and conflicts with rules. I hope that someday you realize that malice is not the answer.

I'm sorry for posting this. Its just that this is my game; my baby. Any good parent will do anything he can to protect his child and that's what I want to do. You know its funny that he said my game sucks. Wouldn't any true fallout fan love anything that has to deal with the game?

Sincerely,

Locke Taelos (GM)

Hey, maybe i was too harsh, it isnt that bad, i over reacted, it just seems slow when you cant say what the other people speak, i say you should try to get ALOT more people involved in it, ahina sorry for being such an ass hole,

I would like to join but there are some dead links, like the char sheets. :P

RE: Blasting Fallout RPG, and the GM's point of view....

Yeah.....the most important thing for making a new char is dead link...heh

RE: Blasting Fallout RPG, and the GM's point of view....

OOC: Yeah i found that. I copied someone elses sheet but at that time my E-mail wasn't working and it didn't get through. And after that i got caught up in "South of The Border" And i had a lot to do there. Plus i had started writing some Fan Fics
