Do you use a save editor in game?

Well to modify character stats is what I mean? I'm on my 5th play through and I'm trying not to since this time around I don't want to cheat and at least try to get everything legit but I'm finding this harder than hell since I've been stuck with 8 action points since beginning of the game and leveling up to get more has been hard. What do you guys usually do and do you think it's right to use a save editor and edit your character?

It's a game. You play it the way you enjoy it the most.
I always set agility to 10, because I'm so used to it that I can't play with less than 10 action points. For me, the easiest way to play (if you're not a pacifist) is to set luck to 10, take finesse trait and small guns (or energy weapons, but I'm not big on pulse rifles). Then you just shoot the eyes of everyone. It's not the most entertaining way of playing, but I'm sure it's the easiest. At least if you want to play legitimately.

I always end up cheating my special stats a bit, agility at less than 10 is agonizing.

I believe i first started to NOT cheat, like 5-6 years ago.
Used to cheat on everything when i was younger, including some games that i find ridiculously easy today. (like Build Engine FPS, or Hack'n'Slash)
