It may be just me, but how many times must I run over a dog with my hummer before he dies?
The same goes for the characters, I run over my sniper, she becomes immoble, then is able to get right back up with no problems, barely takes a hit. But if I get punched in the gut, I get winded, and stays like that for a while....from a punch????? Yet getting ran over by a hummer...have you ever seen a real hummmer??? Them shits is huge.....
 
Hey, you've gotta understand ... this is a tough future we're talking about. This is borne out by the fact that getting punched by a strong guy can be as damaging as getting shot in the face with a .45. So, people are just tougher. They punch a lot harder than we pathetic 20th Century types can believe. And getting run over by anything less than a semi is child's play to them.

Tough, I tells ya.

LOL, I guess a hummer is just not that tough. But how do you explain the fact that in the original series you can do damage with a BB gun?
 
Red Ryder LE BB Gun

Ah well you must be talking about the special Limited Edition Red Ryder, my favorite weapon of all time for FO. That was a legendary bb gun made by and for Mr. Ryder himself for home protection. Firing faster than a rifle or hand gun, almost totally silent, not requiring any powder that may decay over time. This was the ultimate weapon, one of a kind (or one of a very limited edition for himself and friends) , made by a master craftsman. The regular ones just sting a bit (2 pts of damage) While his "home protection" bb gun regularly blows the heads off of super mutants in the hands of an expert! (25 pts to the eye trippled youch!)

I really hope they put one in FOT somewhere.

the physics of the vehicles might not be quit right, but wait till ya get the scouter. now thats once sweet rig. you drive all around town with it and it goes real fast. i know one thing, if you go real fast and hit someone, they be dead. maybe thats why the hummer didnt do much damage. it was probably going real slow. (i know it doesnt make sense but its a possible explaination.)
