I've never really known what a download accellorator is for... are they used on modem connections? I've always had a 1/2 T1 equivilent cable connection...

Well, I've a half Mbit LAN uplink, and it was usually enough for anything. Actually, I've not wanted to accelerate download, but rather make sure it resumes if broken - it happened twice before GetRight was applied.

Ah. Very handy for when the other guy seems to be using a 2400 Baud acoustic coupler to do the dirty work with... I've had 600+MB files crap out a 500 or so MB... after 3 hours of Downloading. Can make someone want to scream.
