Few things I noticed is you can put lockpick in both hands and get double the bonus, as well as double the first aid kit or doctor bag with similar effect.. as well as pulse rifle requires both hand to operate, where the gatling laser only requires one hand..

this game is certainly weird.. in term being realistic.. as a tank can't run down an aluminum fence but the fence would damage the tank.. just my 2cent gripe

Aluminum fence nothing! I can recall running my hummer into a cactus about a foot tall and by god, that thing HURT. It did more damage then the stupid raiders who were shooting at the hummer. Man, avoid them cacti, they'll f**k up a vehicle like they were land mines.

Must be armor-piercing aluminium - I'd like to make some ammo outa that fence ;)

Yeah, just one of those reality checks that failed bigtime, like those worthless doctors at BOS bunkers who are basically medikit salesmen. WTF did these quacks learn in med school?!! Marketing???!!

then again non of the fallout games have been realistic in that way. It'd be really hard to create all the tiles in fallout to be destructable. for every tile there would have to be a sprite. so that would make it about a 10 gb game. It would be fun to smash through everything with the tank though. :)

not all, just some.. anyone played JA2 ? you can blow up a wall with a dynamite.. that I certainly want.. don't want to play the missions the way they set up for me to play ! I want to play my own way, carve my own path if I can .. damn stupid Microforte are so crappy on the imagination department

Anybody remember x-com apocalypse? You could blow up everything in that game, walls, floors, buildings :)

We are probably way of topic here, but lets salute the mother of all destructable environment games: Syndicate Wars. Man, you could turn the whole damn city into something from Fallout. The effect of blowing up a skyscraper into a smoking crater with hi-ex was unbelievable...

x-com WAS a game... a favorite...

Yeah, the med guy at the bunker keeps saying "let me examine your wounds" or something like that, but the only thing he does is sell stimpacks and doctor bags.. crap!
