I put a notice on the Fallout 2 board to bring any unusal item/event occurances in modded games to here. You guys would be able to sort it out, because I'm getting a little tired of fuckwits who come onto the Fo2 board and say there's a BFG10k, atomic bomb in Gecko, Elvis as an NPC, and other shit, and having to sort it all out.

You guys have been around in the data files and other stuff for a long time, and probably know it intimately, so I'll let you guys have the uh...privielidge of flushing out these spruce grouse and their problems.

You think it would be clear if they find something in a modded version of Fallout 2, and they didn't have it occur in the regular version...to bring it to the modding forum (yet that concept appears to escape some). You guys can help them, instead of them blasting all over the Fallout 2 board "super hidden easter egg BFG10k!!" or some shit, and having everyine in an easter egg hunt. Revil was our last obvious troll, the 'newest thing on the block' poster also has been called a liar by many posters as well. I'll leave it up to them to bring their found goody, and they have reassured me that their trick works infallably. Therefore, if you guys say it's bullshit, and I go and check it out as well, then he's gone for rumor-spreading (persistant), trolling, and wasting my time.

If I know what you think you're asking (if we can identify these 'lies' as mods or BS) then how should we know? I only know the mods made by TMS and the Gore patch, I have no idea about small freelance modders. :(

Umm..

there's no Elvis, BFG10k, space-ship, or atomic bomb anywhere, not even in mods.

those who say that are fucking liars. :)

if they use a mod, they will have the enough intelligence to say "yup, I took it from a mod!", it seems that they're writting non-existent facts about stuff *in* the game.

I only know about Juha's homepage(which is dead), The Project(which is also dead) and, perhaps Cyrus[C4](who's alive, but already a member of TMS). There don't seem to be any more standalone modders.

Elvis

I met a guy who looked like elvis while wondering in the desert. I didn't say it was elvis, but it looked like a Las Vegas entretainer in a dirty white suit. I didn't think much of it at the time, but thought it was funny.
