dynamite for sale. [FO1]

First time out of the vault
I'm playing Fallout 1 for the first time. I noticed that after setting the timer
on the dynamite no one seems to want to buy my dynamite (no matter how "good" the deal is). So I was curious if anyone has ever encountered a character that would buy it (like if they had a sufficiently low intelligence or you had a high barter skill or they really wanted something else you threw in). I haven't tried putting it in a bag yet and I know you can reverse pick pocket, but it would be way funnier if they actually bought the dynamite from you.

Cute. This goes into "General Fallout Discussion", as it doesn't have anything to do with the website, mmkay?

Noo, I believe there are no such characters, this is scripted so that you can't blow up people like that. Besides, the NPCs will deny any activated item from you, e.g. Geiger Counters.

I'd think even Torr would know that a ticking pack of dynamite is a bad thing. They won't buy it for the same reason they'll attack you if you drop active dynamite right next to them. :P

I have never noticed that about the glow, The only time's I have used explosives in fallout is to blow up the toilet in modoc, enter the military base in f2 and The temple of trials in F2, Stupidly in f1 I tried to use explosives to break into the control room in Vault 15 once or twice.

I also noticed that anything found in the Glow can't be sold either.

I also noticed that this is bullshit, and the Glow provides a rather splendid cache of loot to be sold. Please refrain from posting disinformatory content in the future.

Sorry if I am incorrect. Maybe it was just the geiger counter that caused this. I had just came back from the Glow and tried to sell off some stuff for books and kept getting "Sorry your offer is not good enough". I assumed it was just stuff from the glow.

Yup, it might have been a Geiger Counter or a StealthBoy.

I *think* there IS a counter there (or a motion sensor) that doesn't stack with other similar items and can't be sold

Somebody confirm that, though
