Enclave Kidnap

So once i got jumped and kidnapped by the enclave, what happens to my buddy Jericho? I went back and i couldn't find him, is he dead or in one of their holding cells?

Edit: Oops well i guess he SOMEHOW made it back to Megaton
or whats left of it...

Another thing I wondered: didn't that colonel die in the Purifier? How the hell can he come and kidnap me at that Vault afterwards?

yeah i didn't check for names to see if they were the same but they sure look the same... in which case
does this mean my daddy is still alive ?
*havent finished game, i read on Pennyarcade if u finish the main quest line the game absolutely ends?

As far as I recall, the guy is the same. At least their names were identical or nearly identical, didn't pay any attention to the name before the kidnap...

Made me wonder it too...
