I just started to edit the enclave skin. I'm just gunna change a few things. How would I be able to make my changes visible during the game? I know I can use datmanl to undat. But how can I re-dat. Plus I don't think I'll be uploading my whole critters.dat to the net (damn that would take a few days) If I wanted to send you guy's the edited frm. what should I type in the

SEND TO: box?

I think I'm gunna mod the goul skins(the ones wearing the burnt out vault suits). What files are those. cause I can't decipher what the files mean. (I just took the first 20 and they happened to be the enclave).

Oh yeah, And Happy Belated birthday MatuX.
(sorry 'bout the delay, but you probably read about my PC prob)

Dammit, MatuX and Smack, look what your DAT mods propaganda have lead to! :)
You don't need to re-dat the frms. Just place them into 'fallout2\data\art\critters', or make a DAT mod as explained in one of the TMS tutorials(I hope)

DATMan has a help file and a readme which come with it explaining how to recompile the DAT file (all you need to do is put the edited files in it).

So for example you edit the car and the car trunk. All you need to do is put cartrnk.frm and carspec.frm in the DAT. Then you put the DAT in your mods folder and use FAME to select that mod and run Fallout 2 with it.

Go to http://www.pipboy2000le.f2s.com/ and then select 'Mods' -> 'Guide to Modding' -> 'Armour Art Values' and it will tell you.
