ending glitch

First time out of the vault
I just beat FO1 for the first time, and I've heard that there's supposed to be some sort of "report" or something about all the towns you visited and what happened to them as a result of your actions. All I got was a bunch of pictures quickly cycled through, and when a picture of a member of the BOS came up, the narrator started to say something about "The Brotherhood continued to protect the people with minimal--" and then it cut out abruptly and took me to the end of the ending, talking to the overseer at the vault. I feel gypped! Is there any way to fix this? I don't want to kill The Master again just to have this happen again.
 
Go to the Start Menu, click Run, type dxdiag, click on the Sound tab, pull the slider back from Full Acceleration to Basic Acceleration. Close and enjoy.
 
I had the same problem for quite some time, but then it just stoped after I reinstalled it again.
