enemy dissapaerance

What i mean is when you fight someone and he ducks for cover then that char. gets dimmed away. This realy po'ed me when you are fighting multiple enemies in TB mode. You are not likely to exit the mode while there is still an enemy there for you to fight. In one try of mission 2 i had one enemy that constantly did nothing else then stand up, cruch again... It took me a long time to find out where he was. They are probably going to implement motion sensors which will help (i hope) but maybe it would not be such a bad idea to not dimm your enemies away. once you start the fight all the enemies that are fighting you get visible and stay that way. OK if they duck for cover you can not hit them but let them be visible so that you can at least plan your next move and not go through a lot of enemies and then not being able to find the last SOB because he will not come out of his cover.

There is a simple reason why the enemy dissapered, he wasn't in any of your guys line of sight!!! FOT got True Line of Sight, you know..

Yes i know. The problem with this is that you still can hit the enemy using grenades with that forced fire thingy (right click on a spot on the ground) but the sob might have moved so using this will use up your grenades wich you might be able to use later on. I think there still should be a way for you to locate them even if they are out of your line of sight. Maybe the red circle around their feet should still be there.

Just like how people you can't see in real life have a red circle around their feet? What's the sense in making them disappear at all if you can still tell where they are?

Aye, and also note that this is based more on the tactical side of combat than the "run-into-base-with-big-guns-and-kill-everything" approach. Motion Sensors would be a good thing but it would be a bit hard to figure out how they would detect something that DOESN'T MOVE. Also, they wouldn't be that useful if yon enemies are behind cover.

Just like people in real life have action points and hit points hu.

I know that you don't have to kill everything inside a base to get the job done. But this was a crucial passage way that i had to go through. There was no other way of getting past him and the problem was not so much that i could not kill him but more that i got stuck in TB mode for almost the rest of the mission. It just took me ages to move my entire team to another spot. And for the motion sensors. Good point but they could be equiped with infra-red so that they can pick up body heat as well as movement. That would make them effective against living creatures (for a lack of a better word). Semi-effective against non living moving creatures (ie robots) and non effective against non living non moving (turrets) but in the latter you don't really need it anyway because once you know where one is...
