Every Ghoul in Necropolis... dead?

I just got to Necropolis (64 days left or something before the water runs out) and for some reason every single ghoul was dead. Set, the gang in the sewers, EVERYONE.

The mutants were alive, though. Is this a bug? I'm playing 1.1.

Maybe if you poke around in the ruins a bit you can find someone to tell you what happened?

This is probably a hint or something, but since I already killed every mutant in there and found no-one else (except for some cultists), would you mind telling me what the hell happened?


Also, if I may derail my own thread; are there any known bugs with bags? I lost a ton of stuff out of nowhere while trying to sell stuff in The Hub (I put all my stuff in bags and layed them down on the ground so I could carry all those heavy iron armors). That kind of sucked.


EDIT: I checked your (quite fantastic) guide, and noticed that you sayd this would happen 110 days after the start of the game. But this aw only 90 days after the start of the game. I guess that was a typo.

There should be a refugee by where the ghoul gangers were that should explain what happened.

Hmmm, what else have you done? If you went through in an unconventional way, like some have to see how earlier areas progress like the COC member in Junktown on day 80, then it might have prompted the earlier slaughter of Necropolis. Since the COC are essentially the human scouts before the Master's army invades, have you done anything with them before?

I'm pretty sure I didn't. In fact, I don't think I did anything with any affiliates of the master, but it doesn't really matter at this point. It's not like I missed out on tons of exp.
