People need to quit complaining about how bad Fallout 3 will be if this or that is added or taken away. In example, multiplayer. Now. Can someone actually tell me out there that they will not buy Fallout 3. If FO 3 does in fact, either include multiplayer, is multiplayer, or has nothing to do with multiplayer, you can't tell me you won't buy it, AND LIKE IT! Who here did not like the first two Fallouts? If you didn't THEN YOU WOULDN'T BE HERE. I'm sure no matter how they Do Fallout 3, it will be a good game.

So my point is...stop complaining so much, and just post some decent ideas. Then we'll see when in comes out...

People in here have a right to stand up for what they believe. If someone believes multiplayer will ruin fallout and he can come with arguements proving his point there's nothing wrong with that.

I'm just saying good sir that if people continue to constantly complain about little things in the game, then when Interplay does release the game, people will be mostly disappointed...

Well then that's their own fault isn't it? I myself have doubts about multiplayer options in any RPG, cause all too often all they amount to are slugfests. That's why I'm really curious how Arcanum and Vampire: The Masquerade will do. If BIS announces multiplayer in Fallout 3 I will be sceptic, but I do have faith in Black Isle. They haven't made a bad game yet...

I am HERE, in this message board, because i like fallout - and this means I MUST NOT SAY ANYTHING bad about either FO3 or FO2/FO1.
We are HERE - only to sit around, and praise Fallout. Talk about how great the two fallouts were, and how, no matter WHAT HAPPENS - FO3 will be the greatest game on earth.

What was i thinking when i was putting up suggestions and ideas and "COMPLAINED" about the things i wouldn't like to see in FO3.

Oh right, i also forgot, the FORMULA-OF-GAMES-BY-GHALEON
It goes like this - if the producer, or the developer of a game - hears too many things that the fans wouldn't like to see in the sequel, or they have some comments which aren't positive about the game - BOOM! "hah - eat this consumers we will not make a sequel... NA NA NANANA"

Why are we even discussing things or arguing, it is obvious that what you said is right, and there shouldn't be more than one opinion.
Fallout is the best thing, and if anyone will think otherwise, about even one of the future fallouts (FO3 and on) we shall kick him out!!
Actually, what are we doing in democracies? we should all move to communism or dicatorship or something which doesn't allow freedom.

There aren't enough words in english to describe my feelings about your post.
In my opinion YOU are the one who shouldn't be in this message board if you think that people whose opinion is different than yours are wrong, or at least shouldn't be here.
The fact we are here, "dear" friend, means only that we are INTERESTED in Fallout news, and that we like to communicate with people about Fallout.
It says NOTHING about wether or not we liked the game.
like if you enter channel #NAZIS in mIRC doesn't mean you are a nazi. It means - that for some reason you wished to communicate with whomever is in that channel.

Me for example.
I loved FO1. I liked FO2 less.
I have many ideas and hopes about FO3, which most of them won't come true.
I enjoy sharing those tho, with people that like me, chose to be here, in a message board about Fallout.
In fact i also enjoy replying to people like you.
It amuses me and entertains me to see people like you post things like that, and it feels me with hope to see that the majority resists to you.

FO3 is a game.
I will choose if i want to buy it or not, WITH ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION to the other two.
Like when you have a coin.
It has two sides.
There is 50% chance that you drop the coin on each side.
But even if for 990,788 times in a raw it fell on the same side, there is still NOT LESS THAN 50% exactly that it will drop on the other side.
I buy each game seperately.
If FO3 will be 3D, it lowers the chances i will buy it.
If FO3 will be real-time, it lowers more the chances i will buy it.
Add more to it from the list of things i don't want, and eventually i will simply avoid buying it.

THEN - nothing insures that i will ENJOY IT.
This is SUBJECTIVE. I could for example enjoy
Final Fantasy 1,4,7,8 and not enjoy 2,3,5,6.
I could NOT ENJOY Fo1 (but i did)
I could not enjoy FO2 (but it was ok)
It is possible that even if i buy FO3 (meaning, it will seem oright) - i won't enjoy it.
Maybe it will turn out that the plot is not fun to play, maybe it will be too linear, or too hard, or too easy.

I've heaed Vampire has a really great multiplayer mode where you have one player be the dungeon master, and the other players try to stop him

Iv'e always believed that multiplayer is not the problem. The developers just screwed up.you have to make sure a multiplayer mode will be structured well and free of jerks.(That last bit is near impossible to pull off, but I've played alot of TFC and most people who play it are nice enough, so maybe it can be done)

If the players are against the GM, then won't it have the same flaws as other multiplayer RPGs? Every multiplayer RPG (to date) ends up being hack 'n' slash. Hopefully, the flexibility of the editor will allow for non-combative goals to be incorperated. Then the only missing link will be a good GM (through my experience with PnP RPGs, this seems to be a rare thing.)

The players should never be against the GM. The GM should be there to present the story.

I agree. Although, with Arcanum (not sure about Vampire:TM), the multiplayer will be seperate from the single-player game. They're basically giving people the tools to create an adventure, and throwing in multiplayer.
