Exit grid problem for special encounters

This is really annoying. Has anyone found a way to fix the exit grid problem for special encounters?

You know, the one where some special encounters don't allow you to leave after you return to them? Not being able to return to special encounters to trade or steal items is really getting on my nerves.

I have a save while being stuck in one of those encounters. Any ides other than starting again?
 
It's a common problem, next time you get a special encounter you're not familiar with or has a "screw-up" chance save your game right at the beginning (with your original save or an alternative one).


And remember to do whatever you want to do in there before leaving.

Yes, but that is my only save, which means that my guys are stuck in that special encounter and cannot leave. Which further says that I have to start from the beginning. So, there is no way to fix this?
 
Not that I remember...


You could do like I did for me FOT game, a save for bunkers and another for missions.
 
And this is 1 of the reasons I support multiple saves! So games like these don't "screw-up"
