After letting Falllout 3 be out for a while, they should make an expansion pack. It should be titled Fallout 3: The Bad Side. You could be on the bad guys point of view. Stop the chosen one while getting something important for the base, or somethin.

But you can choose to be a bad guy anyway, so why need a expansion pack?

Yes you can choose to be evil, but can you choose to be a member of the Enclave? Can you choose to do tasks for the Enclave? This is not just be an evil chosen one from vault 13 or arroyo.

But to be honest, is being evil really that good? In FO2, you get hunted by big bad people in Power Armour, which you really do not need until you're bout Lv20+.

Yes but in Fallout 3 the Enclave got blown to hell. By the time you meet up with the chosen one he will surely be buff and strong.

Evil is a matter of perspective. To the Enclave the Chosen One probly seemed like one evil SOB. To place such definition as to who is right and wrong is a bad idea.

Allright here is what i am saying: You will be on the "good" side of the Enclave. Which will make you evil. Considering you want to destroy all the races with mutagenic genes. That's pretty damn evil to me. But you will be idolized in the eyes of the Enclave for doing their quests and so on and so fourth.

Then there's gotta be 'evil' NPC's too, cause as far as I know, Sulik and co are 'good' guys and therefore will not join your character.

It sounds to me like the Enclave are misunderstood. They almost seem systematic. It's sorta like saying, "Kill everyone with AIDS & HIV, and you no longer have a problem." You may think this is evil or wrong. Perhaps it's good, because it's the lesser of 2 evils.

I don't think this board is ready for philosophy.

But, there are times where killing is justified. Where it's not considered evil, or it's a nescessary evil. If you want to get technical about killing, The Chosen One is required to. This makes him/her evil.

So you're saying the Chosen One is evil and the Enclave is good? I think you are misunderstanding the game buddy. Well, it is a good perspective towards it though. I kinda see your point. Although the Chosen One kills for the good of man-kind.

So does the Enclave (kills for the good of man-kind), there's just a bit more killing. It really depends on where you draw the line 'for the good of man-kind' at.

What it really depends on is your own perception of good and evil, and the ends does not always justify the means.

WEEEEE!!! look at it go... anyway...
I think from a purely 'survival of the species' point of view, the Chosen one (and the vault dweller for that matter) were unspeakably evil. If you take that stance, then the enclave was clearly going to benefit humanity IN THE LONG RUN. Of course, its also this kind of 'pure' thinking that led Hitler to his 'final solution' so, I realy dont think people should take a 'survival of the species' point of view. Its just that you have to imagine the motives of the so-called 'bad guys'. From their POV, they were were acting in good conscience. They did what they felt was required to achieve their goals.

P.S. once again, excuse the spelling

So did the Master. I realized it after talking to Marcus before he joined me in Broken Hills. The only problem is that whole "sterile mutant" part.
